International Pond Supply (IPS) is a leading wholesale distributor of water garden and pond equipment in North America that until recently did not have an online presense. IPS approached MediaGirl to implement this ecommerce project with the requirement that it be capable of integrating into NetSuite, the tool the company used for managing company financials, marketing and inventory.The resulting website was built using NetSuite's NetCommerce application and is tightly integrated into IPS's other NetSuite tools allowing for one product database and real-time inventory reductions. Additionally, approved wholesale customers are able to login to the website to browse and purchase products while non-wholesale customers can view products but cannot see wholesale prices and cannot complete an order.
